This is a picture of the sunset in Waikiki Beach (Oahu, HI). I spent some time over there and come to realize that I absolutely adore Hawaiian life and the beautiful sunsets Hawaii has to offer. As I studied abroad, I was the happiest and healthiest I ever was and now, having been back in NY for over a year, I dream of the wonderful days I spent in my Hawaii and I hope to go back as soon as possible.
For those of you, who have never visited, which I expect are many (since it is practically on the other side of the globe), Hawaii is AMAZING and truly, TRULY worth seeing. Aside from the commercialization (which is basically everywhere these days), Hawaii is a tiny jewel in the middle of the ocean. Just make sure, if you do decide to visit, to not take any natural pieces of the land/nature back, since there is A LOT of superstition involving curses for anyone who disturbs the natural elements.
